The National Science Museum in New Delhi was established in 1992. It’s is located on Bhairon Street nearby Pragati Maidan’s Gate No 1. The museum is a unit of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM). Purana Qila, Delhi Zoo, India gate and Supreme Court of India are also situated near the national science museum in Delhi.
The National Science museum building consists of eight floors and it is one of the biggest science exhibition halls in the world. The repository houses displayed on themes Architecture, History and Science. An ideal place for the Science enthusiasts, it has many sections and galleries that are must see for everyone, especially the school children and younger enthusiasts. Need one Full day to go through this children’s heaven.
A few of its sections are include dinosaurs, heritage gallery and biology gallery, Technology section and the historical Indian science, fun science library, A section on Vedic Ayurveda and Mathematics, a DNA Knowledge section also.
Also, present energy ball viewed at the entrance of National science museum and a fun-filled multi-media gallery that’s only one of its types in the country.
