Masjid-e-Jahan-Numa is known as Jama Masjid of Delhi – Jama Masjid, it is one of the largest mosques of India.
Mughal ruler Shah Jahan constructed this mosque by spending 1 million rupees between 1644 and 1656. The construction of this mosque was completed in 1656 AD with three spacious doors, four towers and 40-meter high tower and red stone and white marble. About 25,000 people can come together in its courtyard. There are three domes on its roof, surrounded by two towers. About 899 black borders have remained on the floor. The architect plan of the governor’s mosque, Shah Jahan’s son Aurangzeb, was built in Lahore in Pakistan, which was exactly like the Jama Masjid.
