Now, clicking a selfie with actors can actually be a dream that is rather relatively easily realized. The famous Madame Tussauds Wax Museum has opened its doors for the public on December 1 2017. A day before, it held a special screening for the press and selected audiences in the heart of the city, Connaught Place
The 50 lifelike wax figures include numerous international and national celebrities like sports celebrities Mary Kom, Sachin Tendulkar, Milkha Singh and Lionel Messi and Bollywood top celebrities like Madhuri Dixit Nene & Amitabh Bachchan, and political leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, PM Narendra Modi. Given the fame of the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, this is a much-awaited attraction for the Capital.
This heritage building of Regal Cinema, which was closed earlier this year to make way for this international attraction, the two-storeyed exhibition has been specifically designed it’s structured to keep Indians in mind. Enter, and you will be greeted by cricketers Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar, Together with actor Richard Gere. Welcome here and put your hearts with your favorite celebrities.
The other sections are divided into history, sports, bhangra, songs and eventually, part of Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities. However, the display isn’t solely visual. There are interactive channels, where people can find out more about the wax model and can play some games. For example, while presenting with Marilyn Monroe, you can try out wigs fitting her hair and also get yourself clicked before a vanity mirror placed directly behind. Similarly, while checking out Milkha Singh’s wax version, you are able to play baseball or practice some shots as though you were there around the field together with him. Assuming that the museum is available to all, the building has been created handicap-friendly along with practical elevators installed for all floors.
